Sankara Interchange
The Sankara Interchange is flyover in Accra, Ghana. It was named after a military ruler of Burkina Faso, Captain Thomas Sankara. The interchange was rename the Ako Adjei Interchange in 2005 by the John Kufour administration.
Location
The Interchange is located on Ring Road East and is along the Liberation Road in Accra with links towards the 37 Military Hospital, the Police headquarter.
Construction
Construction of interchange started in September 1997 and ended in December 1999.[1]
